About

My name is Don Purnell and I am a Graphic Designer. I became exposed to design at a young age beginning with Paintshop Pro and Photoshop 7 and was hooked. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from California State University, East Bay in the Summer of 2014. I also received a Certificate of Graphic Arts from Monterey Peninsula College in the Spring of 2009. My extensive coursework have allowed me to grow and gain knowledge while also allowing me to further expand my repertoire to create dynamic and aesthetically pleasing graphics while being functional.

I am primarily a print designer with experience in creating brochures, pamphlets, logos, posters, product packaging,  and T-shirts. I am well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite set of software with extensive experience using Photoshop and InDesign. I efficiently utilize the interoperability of software to maximize design solutions.

I also am experienced in web design. I specialize in WordPress configurations along with HTML, CSS, and some experience with Javascript, jQuery, and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation.
